System Compatibility
- Supported OS: macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or newer.
- Processor support: Fully optimized for Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4 series). Legacy Intel Mac support is available with slower CPU fallback.
- Memory (RAM): 8GB minimum, 16GB unified memory recommended for optimal background indexing.
- Disk Space: ~1.2GB for application binary and default embedding models.
Data & Privacy Guard
- No Cloud Pipeline: Dhito functions without internet access. All vector weights stay on local storage.
- Zero Analytics Tracking: We track no document names, content, search queries, or user telemetry.
- Apple Notarized: Installer is officially code-signed and scanned by Apple Gatekeeper for safety.
